There is something so special about the pulse of 10 drums beating as one! 🎶 💜 This group is a key part of our choir program, offering a wonderful way for our students to build coordination and confidence while experiencing the joy of ensemble music-making. Thank you to our instructors for leading this powerful rhythm!

Creativity is flowing in the library! 🦁📚 This week's lesson has our students putting their pencils to the page to write original poetry. This exercise isn't just about rhyming; it's a practice in mindfulness, helping students focus, slow down, and connect with their inner thoughts. We can’t wait to read the meaningful words they create!

Is it a pigeon? Is it a bus driver? No, it’s the amazing Mrs. McKinney! 🚌🐦

Whether she’s dressed as our favorite literary characters or bringing history to life, Mrs. McKinney always makes the library the most exciting place to be. This week, she gave our students a "presidential" perspective on the scale of Mount Rushmore. 🏔️👀

Using a tape outline on the floor, she showed the kids that just one eye on the monument is so massive it could fit one of the largest classes in our school right inside it!

We are so grateful for Mrs. McKinney’s heart and the way she turns every lesson into a "can't-miss" event. She truly makes our library the place where curiosity grows and big ideas come to life. Lomond View wouldn't be the same without her! 💙🦁

What’s in your circle? Kindergarteners are becoming masters of Habit 1!

Today, our Lions used hula hoops to visualize their "Circle of Control." ⭕️ They learned that while we can't control everything, we ARE in charge of what we say, do, and think. It was a great day of practicing self-awareness and being our best selves in the gym!
