Welcome: Dr. Watson
Discussion: Governor Cox; Phone Policy/Watches

• Challenges: Testing and using calculators; kids “checking
  themselves out;” kids calling friends and family during recess; kids
  playing games on their watches during class.
• WSD has left the decision up to the individual schools.

Phone/Watch Decision:

• Devices will be left home or OFF and in a backpack.
• Dr. Watson will draft a policy that will roll out for the full school next
  year that we will all sign off on.
