As the school year winds down, Weber School District is committed to ensuring that students continue to have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months. The WSD Summer Lunch program will officially return on June 1st, offering free meals to children and teenagers in our community.
Program Schedule and Locations
Starting June 1st and running through July 23rd, lunch will be served Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Please note that all sites will be closed on June 15th and July 3rd in observance of holidays.
Families can access the program at any of the following elementary school locations:
Burch Creek Elementary: 4300 Madison Ave
Roy Elementary: 2888 West 5600 South
Lakeview Elementary: 2025 West 5000 South
North Park Elementary: 4046 South 2175 West
Riverdale Elementary: 1160 West 4400 South
Washington Terrace Elementary: 20 East 4600 South
Program Guidelines
The program is designed to support local youth, but it is open to the community at large under specific guidelines:
Children 18 and younger eat for free.
Adults may purchase a meal for $4.75. Please note that this is cash only, and exact change is requested.
Dining Policy: Per program regulations, all food must be consumed within the school lunchroom. Adults are not permitted to eat items from a child's tray.
Safety and Dress Code: For the safety of all participants, shoes and shirts must be worn at all times. Rollerblades and skateboards are prohibited inside the lunchroom.
Supervision: While lunch is provided, there is no adult supervision on the playgrounds during these hours, and restrooms will be unavailable to the public.
